As part of an assignment exploring different photography techniques, I used this hose to demonstrate fast shutter speed/frozen motion. I liked how the drops of water lead the viewer's eye from left to right.

As part of an assignment exploring different photography techniques, I used a slow shutter speed in this photo. I like how the water looks smooth and almost cloud-like, and that I was able to capture this without a tripod.

The day after a winter storm, I went to my backyard to take photos and noticed drops of water clinging to the grate of my family's fire pit. I wanted to highlight the different shapes adn the muted colors of the scene.

As I was going to a frozen yogurt shop to take interior photos, I noticed a community center in my neighborhood had a sandbag station set up for the heavy rains. I chose to photograph the shovels from an upwards angle to add a sense of mystery and darkness.
